CERTIFICATE COURSE ON ELECTRONIC SYSTEM DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING

CERTIFICATE COURSE ON ELECTRONIC SYSTEM DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING

One of the most required and sought after skills in the electronics industry is that of project development and PCB designing for various applications. These applications may vary from prototyping for a student mini project, to a highly advanced industry application. While designing any of these, selecting the proper component, designing the correct circuit and making a clean PCB are the most basic and crucial steps that decide how successful the project will be. Strong fundamental knowledge of these skills and a good hands-on experience signify a good design engineer. Eduvance offers an IUCEE endorsed certificate course in project development and PCB designing. This course will enable the candidates to master the skill of designing PCBs at professional level and develop project at a phenomenal pace easily. At the end of this course, student will satisfactorily be able to develop a Single and Multi layered PCB and use the same in a competitive student project.

Workshop content

The workshop content is divided along the lines of following projects and learning outcomes.
1. Bread-Boarding
1.1  How to layout the circuit with least number of wires and make a reliable circuit
1.2  How to debug or trouble shoot a bread boarded circuit
1.3  Project – Implementing IC555 based LED flashing circuit

2. Wire-Wrapping & Soldering
    2.1  PCB Designing

3. Introduction to EDA tools (PCB Designing), getting familiarise tPCB,Different PCB types and manufacturing methods,Introduction of Eagle PCB designing EDA tool,Starting a new project (Useful folder structure; importing reference schematics, collecting and sorting documents),Schematics design (Drawing schematics; conventions and useful tips to create readable schematics)
3.1  Selecting components and creating libraries (How to select components for your designs to prevent problems during production; how to create useful libraries)
3.2  Variants & BOMs (Creating and using variants; generating professional BOMs job files)
